What is Culturazzi?

Culturazzi was started in February 2008 by Ankur Sharma and Samakshi in an endeavor to engage, inspire and entertain an assortment of folks with passions that whirl within the enfold of film, music, theater, cultural exchange and literature. Here at Culturazzi we hope to flock up people and strengthen the artistic milieu across India by building platforms where you can appreciate these mediums of creativity, swap fresh perspectives and participate in outreaching initiatives that will benefit us all. If you are one such fanatic, activist or connoisseur who has a penchant for solid art, and wallows in good films, great music and exquisite literature or simply are a tinkerer, this is just the place for you! We promise that this will be a place full of fun, learning and interaction!

Who is a Culturazzo?

A lover of one or many aspects of culture, mainly but not limited to cinema, literature, music, theater, visual and performing arts, photography, and art. A Culturazzo is an active member of Culturazzi Cognoscente Club, and his/her activities include:

• Being an active reviewer or citizen journalist for any aspect of culture (as defined above)
• Organizing, or participating in cultural events in cities and actively interacting with others to share opinion/knowledge/views.
• Proactively promoting the concept of Culturazzi, and its ideals to anyone who is inclined to be a part of it.
• Exploring new avenues to promote Culturazzi all over the world

A Culturazzo is determined to make the world a “culturally” flatter place by bringing people on a common platform to interact, intermingle, and communicate with each other.
